ftp_accept_host

Description

The ftp_accept_host function checks if a connection from the remote host is allowed or not. This allows remote host filtering. You can selectively decide which hosts are allowed to connect to the FTP server and which are not allowed.

The argument rem_ip points to a buffer containing the four octets that make up the ip address of the remote machine. The argument rem_port specifies the port on the remote machine.

The ftp_accept_host function is in the FTP_uif.c module. The prototype is defined in net_config.h.

note

  • This function is optional. If it does not exist in the project, the library default function is used instead. The library default function accepts all remote hosts.
Return Value

The ftp_accept_host function returns __TRUE if the connection from the remote host is allowed. If the connection is not allowed, this function shall return __FALSE.
