Click the Networking tab in the Connection Properties
dialog.
Select SLIP from the drop-down menu for the "Type of dial-up
server I am calling."
Enable the Internet protocol (TCP/IP) option from the
"Components checked are used by this connection" section. Then
click the Properties button.
On the General tab of the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties
dialog, the "Use the following IP address" and "Use the following
DNS server address" options are automatically selected because SLIP
does not provide IP address negotiation.
Setup the SLIP IP address of your Windows SLIP Client and click
OK to close the options dialog. The new dial-up connection
is now ready for use.
