Endpoint structure (USBH_EP)

EndPoint (USBH_EP) structure represents an endpoint that USB Host Core has in use.

typedef __packed struct { /* Endpoint settings structure */
  U32          Handle;                  /* Handle to Endpoint                 */
  __packed union {
    U32 Para;                           /* Endpoint parameters                */
    __packed struct {
      U8       Address           : 8;   /* Endpoint communication address     */
      U8       Speed             : 8;   /* Endpoint communication speed       */
    };
  };
  USB_ENDPOINT_DESCRIPTOR Descriptor;   /* Endpoint Descriptor                */
} USBH_EP;

Explanation of USBH_EP structure elements:

  • Handle represents the handle (pointer to element providing endpoint functionality) of the endpoint.
  • Para represents the parameters of the endpoint communication.
    • Address represents the address of the device that endpoint is communicating with.
    • Speed represents the speed at which endpoint is communicating.
  • Descriptor represents the endpoint descriptor according to the USB Specification.
