License Management

The License Management dialog allows you to license Keil software products. After the installation, you must license that product by registering your CID and PSN on the Keil website. You will be notified via an automated e-mail containing a LIC. Enter the LIC into the License Management dialog (refer to Terminology for abbreviations).

The software can be licensed as:

• Single-User License
  Register software products for a single user on one workstation.
• Floating-User License
  Register software products for multiple users on multiple workstations.
• Floating License Administrator
  Manage Floating-User Licenses.
• FlexNet License Setup (Client)
  Install the FlexNet License on your machine.
• FlexNet Publisher Setup (Server)
  Install the FlexNet licensing server.
• MDK Professional Evaluation
  Evaluate the MDK Professional Edition for 30 days.

Open the License Management dialog via the µVision menu File - License Management.

Note

• To install or remove a LIC on PCs running Windows Vista or Windows 7, you must start µVision with administration rights. Right-click the µVision icon and select Run as Administrator.
