Keil MDK supports TI MSP432 Mixed-Signal Microcontrollers

ARM today announced support for the Texas Instruments MSP432 efficient ultra-low-power mixed signal MCU family in the Keil MDK-ARM Microcontroller Development Kit. The device support can be easily added to current Keil MDK-ARM installations using the Pack Installer and the Texas Instruments Device Family Pack for the MSP432.

The new 32-bit MSP432 MCU platform from Texas Instruments leverages more than 20 years of low-power expertise of the MSP430 series to provide maximum performance with optimal power efficiency. This MSP432 MCU platform is built around the high performance ARM® Cortex®-M4 core, featuring DSP extensions and a floating-point unit.

Keil MDK is the complete development solution for the MSP432 family with the state of the art ARM C/C++ Compiler, the µVision IDE and debugger as well as advanced trace functionality. In cooperation with ARM, Texas Instruments has created a Device Family Pack for the MSP432 family to enable support in Keil MDK. This allows smooth project setup and seamless integration with other essential parts of the ARM ecosystem like the CMSIS libraries and 3rd party middleware.
