MDK-ARM Supports Energy Micro EFM32G Devices

Energy Micro

Cambridge, UK: Keil announce immediate support for the Energy Micro EFM32 Gecko microcontroller family in the Keil MDK-ARM (Microcontroller Development Kit).

The EFM32G family is based on the ARM® Cortex™-M3 processor and achieves the lowest active mode current consumption of any microcontroller. Standby current consumption is typically 900nA, which can be further reduced to less than 20nA in its deepest sleep mode.

Further information about the full range of EFM32 devices is available from the Energy Micro website.

MDK-ARM

The latest release of MDK-ARM supports all EFM32G devices and includes set-up files, device-specific views, and example projects. MDK-ARM provides a complete development environment for creating, debugging, and verifying embedded software applications. It features the industry-standard compiler from ARM, the Keil µVision4 IDE, and sophisticated debug and data trace capabilities that utilize the advanced features of the Cortex-M3 processor.

MDK-ARM is specifically optimized for single-chip, high performance devices such as the EFM32G.
