Keil Supports Atmel's SAM3U Family

Plano, Tx: Keil announce immediate support for the Atmel SAM3U family and evalaution kits in the Keil MDK-ARM (Microcontroller Development Kit) and RL-ARM (Real-Time Library).

The AT91SAM3U is the first Atmel family to be based on the ARM® Cortex®-M3 processor, and is the first ARM-powered microcontrollers to feature integrated high-speed 480 Mbps USB + Phy.

MDK-ARM

The MDK-ARM MDK-ARM supports the full range of Atmel 32-bit ARM technology-based microcontrollers; the current version includes peripheral simulation and device-specific views for the SAM3U series. The Keil tools provide trace capabilities with logic analyzer and event viewers that utilize the extended debug features of the Cortex-M3 processor. MDK-ARM is available now for download.

RL-ARM

The Keil RL-ARM provides a comprehensive set of middleware components with template projects for the unique SAM3U peripherals.
