Keil MCBXC88x Evaluation Board for Infineon XC88x devices

Plano, TX: Keil is pleased to announce the MCBXC88x Evaluation Board which introduces the Infineon XC88x microcontroller family. This evaluation board is ideal for creating and testing programs for these 8051-based devices. It is easily connected to a standard PC using the serial port (for Flash download) or with the OCDS interface using the Keil ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter

The MCBXC88x evaluation board features the following:

  • Infineon XC886 Microcontroller (optionally XC888),
  • CAN Interface,
  • COM-to-USB converter,
  • LIN interface,
  • Analog input via potentiometer,
  • Eight LED's and Prototyping area,
  • JTAG/OCDS Debug Interface (for use with Keil ULINK).

The MCBXC88x Evaluation Board includes a 2K-limited version of the PK51 Professional Developer's kit which enables you to get started writing programs for the MCBXC88x. Many sample programs are included which are ready to run on the MCBXC88x.

The Keil PK51 includes µVision which interfaces to Infineon DAvE for seamless device configuration. The µVision Debugger contains both a cycle-accurate device simulator that provides models of all on-chip peripherals and a powerful target debugger that connects to the XC88x debug system using ULINK (or a DAS-compiliant adapter).
