Keil Software Announces C166 V6
Plano, TX: Keil Software is pleased to announce C166
Version 6. C166 supports the C16x/ST10/XC16x families of
microcontrollers. Version 6 contains several compiler enhancements,
introduces an improved OCDS driver, for debugging with the ULINK
USB-JTAG Adapter, and includes complete simulation for all new
Infineon XC16x devices. Other new and improved features include:

Several new compiler code generation enhancements such as
improved Common Sub-Expression Elimination and a new code
optimization level 8 for Register Variable Lifetime
analysis.

µVision3 context sensitive on-line help in the IDE and
configuration dialogs.

Enhancements in the µVision3 Configuration Wizard
and Logic Analyzer.

Peripheral dialogs and accurate simulation of all XC16x
peripherals including CAPCOM6E and advanced PEC within the
µVision3 Debugger.

OCDS debugging/programming support for all XC16x
devices.

ELF/DWARF compatible linker output allows third-party tools to
analyze memory contents and symbol information.
