Atmel W/M Announces the T89C51CC01
Atmel Wireless
& Microcontrollers (formerly TEMIC Semiconductors) is pleased
to announce the T89C51CC01, a new 8051-compatible device. The
T89C51CC01 provides an on-chip CAN controller which is fully
compatible with the ISO specifications 11898 (2.0A & 2.0B) for
high-speed and 11519-2 for low-speed serial data bus transmission.
Its outstanding on-chip 32K Flash program memory and the separated 2K
Flash boot memory together with In-System-Programming (ISP) via CAN
bus or UART give this product all the advantages needed to develop
applications where product flexibility, programming security, short
time-to-market, and low costs are required.
Existing CAN networks with 2.0A and 2.0B nodes are supported by
the T89C51CC01 as all channels may be used in either of these two
modes. This product handles 15 CAN channels (message objects) that
are programmable for reception, transmission or receive buffer
(maximum 120 Bytes). Extensive masking, filtering, and buffering of
CAN frames reduces the host processor load.
Dual data pointers, 2K user data EEPROM, a 10-bit Analog to
Digital Converter (ADC), and 1.2K RAM complete the 80C51 enhanced
architecture of the T89C51CC01.
The Keil C51 Compiler
supports all aspects of this enhanced 8051 device as well as all
8051-compatible
chips from Atmel Wireless & Microcontrollers. All on-chip
peripherals of the T89C51CC01 are fully simulated in the
µVision2 Debugger including the on-chip CAN interface. The
Debugger's built-in script language supports complex peripheral
simulation including CAN communication.
