µVision2 Simulates All Parts From Analog Devices

Plano, TX: Keil Software, the leader in 8-bit 8051 software development tools, today announced complete simulation support for all Analog Devices 8051-based microcontrollers (ADuC812, ADuC814, ADuC816, ADuC824, ADuC831, ADuC832, ADuC834, and ADuC836). The Keil µVision IDE (currently supporting various 8-bit and 16-bit devices) now includes complete simulation for on-chip peripherals of the Analog Devices parts. On-chip peripherals that are completely simulated include:

  • Primary and Auxiliary A/D Converters
    (with DMA on applicable devices)
  • D/A Converter
  • Dual Data Pointers
  • Extended Stack Pointer
  • Flash EEPROM Data Memory and Program Memory
  • I/O Ports
  • Power Supply Monitor and Power Saving Modes
  • Programmable PLL
  • Pulse Width Modulator (PWM)
  • Serial UART
  • SPI Module
  • Timers and Time Interval Counter
  • Watchdog Timer
