Keil Software Supports Infineon XC161 and XC164

Plano, TX: Keil Software is pleased to announce support for the Infineon XC16x family of microcontrollers. The XC16x is an enhancement to the C16x microcontroller architecture. The XC16x devices are based on the Infineon C166S-V2 core and include extended peripherals and on-chip memory.

The first two devices, the XC161 and XC164, both include embedded Flash memory, a MAC unit, high-resolution A/D converter, and on-chip debugging. These new parts are designed for use in industrial and automotive applications where high-performance is required.

The Keil µVision IDE and Debugger fully support the XC161 and XC164.
