Keil Software Announces C51 V7

Plano, TX: Keil Software, the leader in 8051 embedded development tools, today announced the release of the C51 Compiler Version 7 for the 8051 family of microcontrollers. Version 7 introduces new productivity features that enable embedded software developers to create applications faster. Included are:

• New compiler optimizations that shrink program size and decrease execution time.
• New linker optimizations that shrink program size and help you add fit more features into less memory.
• New debugger technology that allows you to debug in-system with no hardware modifications.
• Enhanced RTX51 Tiny operating system that is smaller and supports more devices and features.

Customers with valid software maintenance agreements may download the V7 update.
