Keil Supports ADuC7000 ARM Devices

Download the Keil/Analog Devices Spring 2004 Newsletter Plano, TX: Keil Software is pleased to announce support for the Analog Devices ARM-powered ADuC7000 Precision Analog Microconverter Device Series within the Keil DK-ARM Development Kit and the popular µVision3 IDE/Debugger. µVision3 integrates Compiler, Assembler, Editor, Project Manager, Debugger, CPU & Peripheral Simulator in a single intelligent environment (the same environment is used for 8052-based ADuC800 series projects).

µVision3 provides complete, cycle-accurate ADuC7000 device simulation and allows you to test a complete system without hardware environment. A list of simulated peripherals and an example program are both available from the Keil Software website. The µVision3 simulator includes a Logic Analyzer that records user variables and Peripheral I/O Registers over time and displays them in the Logic Analyzer Window.

Analog Devices offers QuickStart Development Systems that allow you to rapidly evaluate performance and functionality of the ADuC7000 series. The QuickStart Development System includes the Keil ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter which connects directly to the JTAG port of the ARM device. ULINK supports Flash download and program debugging on actual target hardware and is fully integrated into the Keil µVision IDE/Debugger.
