Arm DevSummit
Virtual — Oct 19, 2021
Join our global community of hardware designers and software
developers for an online program that puts cutting-edge technology
right at your fingertips. Be the first to learn about the latest
advancements shaping the next decade of computing. Grow your network
and build the skills to design for a scalable architecture within the
world's broadest technology ecosystem.
Meet us online to learn how Arm combines the power of specialized
processing with the design freedom and accessibility of general
purpose compute, to help you unlock the power of technology for any
device, from edge to cloud.
The Development Solutions Group will present the following talks
during the conference:
-
CI/CD and MLOps workflow for IoT endpoint
development
Today, the validation process for IoT endnode applications relies
heavily on target hardware with manual user interaction. For
automated CI/CD workflows a robust test environment with
controlled, repeatable input stimuli is required.
Fast Models combined with Python scripting provide this for unit
and integration testing. Using a flexible tool flow, applications
can be validated in simulation on CI/CD or MLOps environments,
verified for correctness on hardware, and deployed to the final
system.
Speaker: Reinhard Keil
-
Machine learning on Arm Neoverse processors
Arm Neoverse is changing how data centers deliver improved
price-performance. This session covers the latest updates and
future roadmap for machine learning on Arm for servers and HPC.
Developer information about the latest releases of Anaconda,
TensorFlow, and PyTorch is provided with a focus on ease-of-use,
optimized performance, and utilization of the latest hardware
architecture features. Attendees will learn how to get started
quickly and how to get the best performance for ML on Arm.
Speaker: Jason Andrews
-
Using performance models to optimize Arm-based data
center SoCs
Cloud service providers see huge potential in customizing compute
SoCs to the specific workloads in their data centers.
We present a Virtual Prototyping environment to optimize power and
performance of heterogeneous many-core SoCs with complex cache
coherent interconnect and deep memory hierarchies.
Using realistic workload models of data center applications and
Arm's new performance models, we show how to tune the SoC
architecture to the application's compute and bandwidth
requirements.
Speakers: Eric Sondhi, Tim Kogel (Synopsys)
Make sure, you do not miss our workshops. If you're interested in
taking part, log into your DevSummit profile and save the workshop
session to your agenda. Please note, we're limiting space in each
workshop session to ensure a quality experience for every
participant, so hurry and reserve your seat for this hands-on
experience:
-
Introducing Keil Studio and cloud-based development for
IoT and embedded applications
Successful IoT implementations require collaboration and a robust
ecosystem of support and tools. Keil Studio cloud embraces the
Open-CMSIS-Pack initiative and provides a cloud-native platform
with direct Git integration for collaboration of distributed teams,
and modern CI workflows for rapid development.
This introductory workshop allows attendees to experience the
workflow first-hand. They will prototype an IoT end node
application, connect it to the cloud, and debug it via their
browser.
Speakers: Christopher Seidl, Ronan Synott
-
IoT DevOps made simple and scalable in the
cloud
While considered best-practice, implementing CI tests for IoT
systems is fraught with challenges. In this workshop we will
introduce a cloud-based solution to simplify CI at scale. AWS and
GitHub accounts required.
