Learn about the Freescale Kinetis ARM Cortex-M4

Aug 31, 2010 02:00 - 03:00 PM CDT

Arrow Electronics, Freescale and ARM® are holding a series of three FREE webinars. Join us and learn about the Freescale Kinetis family of ARM Cortex-M4-based low-power mixed signal microcontroller family. Register Today.

Over the course of this webinar series, we will dive into the features of the new Cortex-M4 core, its applications, and the ecosystem of tools and software surrounding it.

In the first webinar, we will explore the Cortex-M4 core's low-power architecture, Floating Point Unit (FPU), power management features, SIMD (Single Instruction Multiple Data) instructions, and much more.

In this first webinar we discuss the following capabilities of the Kinetis family:

  • Cortex-M4 digital signal processing
  • Multiple levels of energy management
  • Array of communication peripherals and applications
  • Mixed signal capabilities

Host:
Arrow Electronics, Freescale Semiconductor, and ARM

Presenters:
Mike Bisch
Field Applications Engineer, Arrow Electronics
Mike is a field applications engineer for Arrow in St. Louis. Prior to Arrow, Mike designed medical electronics for Covidien Healthcare and Bausch & Lomb for 24 years. Mike has been awarded 12 U.S. patents and is a senior member of IEEE.

Shyam Sadasivan
Product Manager, ARM
Shyam has been with ARM since 2002, contributing in many areas including designing I/O interfaces, developing new design methodologies, and product marketing for leading processors. Shyam is currently working on extending the reach of Cortex-M processor technologies into new markets and applications.
