µVision3 contains many powerful functions that help you during your software project. In addition µVision3 provides interfaces to external tools.
Integrated Utilities:
- Configuration Wizard: Enables menu driven configuration of startup and initialization files.
- Find in Files: Performs a global text search in all specified files.
- Source Browser: Displays information about program symbols in your program.
- Flash Menu: Allows you to start Flash Programming Utilities.
External Tool Interfaces:
- Tools Menu: Allows you to run external programs within the µVision3 IDE.
- SVCS Menu: is a configurable SVCS interface that provides access to Software Version Control Systems.
- Key Sequence for Tool Parameters: may be used to pass arguments from the µVision3 environment to external user programs.
- PC Lint: provides extensive syntax checking for C programs via Gimpel PC-Lint (add-on product to µVision3).
