PC Sampling
The PC Sampling section defines the interval at which instrumentation trace data are generated. Apart from a periodic generation, PC Sampling can be produced for every memory read/write operation.
- Prescaler sets the interval for generating PC Sampling.
- Periodic enables PC Sampling at regular intervals.
- Period displays the interval at which PC Sampling is generated. The interval is calculated by dividing the Prescaler through the Core Clock .
- on Data R/W Sample generates PC Sampling for every memory read/write operation.
Note
- If the Status Bar shows communication errors, disable PC Sampling or define longer intervals.
