Debug Driver

Debug configurations define the way ULINKpro is debugging and connecting to the target hardware.

1. Open the dialog Options for Target — Debug. Enable Use and select ULINK Pro Cortex Debugger.

   

   • Enable Load Application at Startup to load the object file into the µVision Debugger.
   • Enable Run to main() to execute code until main() is reached.
2. Click Settings to configure the debug and connect behavior.
   1. Click on the Pack tab if available, and check Enable. Refer to Pack Options for details.
   2. When the Pack tab if missing, then you may use an Initialization File to execute special commands or functions that prepare the device for debugging or tracing.
3. Click the Debug tab to set the configuration.

   

   The Target Driver Setup dialog consists of three configuration groups:

   • ULINK USB-JTAG/SW Adapter
   • SW Device or JTAG Device Chain
   • Debug
