LICENSE: armlmd Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)

Information in this knowledgebase article applies to:

• Keil-MDK Versions 4.60 or later

SYMPTOM

In the log file of our FlexNet Publisher, the below message appears:

armlmd Invalid license key (inconsistent authentication code)

Because of this, the FlexNet client is not able to connect with FlexNet Publisher.

CAUSE

1. The FlexNet License File has been generated with more than 1 HOST ID (MAC address)

2. The FlexNet License File has been generated with the wrong MAC address

RESOLUTION

Contact the license support to request a license rehost and generate the FlexNet License File again with only one HOST ID.
