RL-ARM: L9937E: RL-ARM is not allowed with this licenseInformation in this knowledgebase article applies to:
SYMPTOMI am a user of Keil MDK who has to maintain an old project which requires the installation of the RL-ARM Real-Time Library. But while building my project I see this error message: Error: L9937E: RL-ARM is not allowed with this license CAUSEThe former combination of Keil MDK and RL-ARM required individual product serial numbers (PSNs) for each product. With the release of Keil MDK 4.20, the RL-ARM middleware libraries became part of Keil MDK-Professional, registered by a single PSN. Users that have updated their product have received this single, Keil MDK-Professional PSN, and no longer need an RL-ARM PSN. The L9937E error message now appears when building projects with a version of Keil MDK older than 4.20 but in combination with a non-registered version of RL-ARM. RESOLUTIONIt is mandatory to possess a PSN for RL-ARM if you use a Keil MDK version older than V4.20. To obtain a PSN for RL-ARM, contact your local distributor, who will inform you about limitations, pricing, installation etc. Note: It is recommended to install that Keil MDK 4 and RL-ARM version into a separate folder.
