  • C166 Version 5
  • MCBXC167 Evaluation Board

QUESTION

I have an application that is using the CAN interface on the Infineon XC16x Evaluation Board. Now I want to run it on the Keil MCBXC167 Board. The Infineon board uses different I/O pins for the CAN interface.

What do I need to change to use the Keil MCBXC167 Board?

ANSWER

Basically, you must change the settings of the following SFR registers: ALTSELP4, PISEL and DP4. After this modification, the software should run correctly.

You may also use Infineon DAVEâ„¢ to setup a project using the correct CAN pin assignments and copy these configurations to your software.
