MCBXC167: CAN Interface ProblemsInformation in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMThe CAN I/O port on the MCB-XC167 board does not work as it should. CAUSEAccording to the schematics, the pins CANL and CANH are wired to pin 2 and 7 of the DB-9 connector. However, they are actually connected to pin 4 and pin 8. RESOLUTIONPin 4 and pin 8 are not used on the CAN connector. So the workaround is to connect pin 2 to pin 4 and pin 7 to pin 8 underneath the DB9 connectors. STATUSMost of the MCB-XC167 boards are already shipped with a correction for that error.
