MCBXC167: CPU Starts at Address 0X410000Information in this article applies to:
QUESTIONWhen I download my application into external RAM with the ULINK JTAG debugger, the CPU starts at address 0x410000 and not from 0x000000. What is wrong? ANSWERThe address 0x410000 is the so called 'alternate start address'. This address is used when P0L.5 is pulled down during a hardware reset. Because of a mistake in production, R12 was populated on MCBXC167-BASIC boards delivered between July and November 2004. Remove R12 from the board. You may also contact the Keil Support Team if you have difficulties. MCBXC167-NET boards are not affected. MORE INFORMATION
