Rigel Corporation RITA-51

Rita-51 is the first board in Rigel Corporation's new line of controllers for Internet Appliances. Rita-51 is a six-layer board with separate VCC and Ground planes intended for internet and intranet applications. The board may be populated with a wide range of high-speed 8051 microcontrollers in the TQFP package. The board uses the CS8900A to directly connect to a 10Base-T Network using a shielded RJ-45 connector. The MCS51 / CS8900A combination takes advantage of readily available hardware and software tools as well as the wealth of publicly available applications source code.
