Infineon Smart Cards

Infineon provides several smart card product families (SLE44, SLE66S, and SLE66P) that are fully supported by the Keil development tools. Note that the Keil development tools required for these devices are available only directly from the Infineon sales channels.

The Infineon Smart Card Development Kit (SDK CC) is built around the Keil µVision IDE/Debugger and the PK51 Professional Developers Kit. The SDK CC includes extensions to the compiler and simulation drivers for SLE 66CxxxP, SLE 66CxxS, SLE 11CxxS, and SLE 44CxxS families. A software/hardware connection to a chip card reader is also provided. The simulator extensions cover most features of the smart card controllers and allow testing and debugging your application before the smart card is manufactured.

The RM66P is an efficient debugging solution for the Infineon SLE 66CxxxP chip card controller families. Real-time software debugging is supported by a bond-out chip. RM66P connects directly to the µVision Debugger which gives you the same user interface for simulation and target debugging. RM66P provides execution breaks, single stepping and full control over memory, CPU registers, and peripherals.
