Peripheral Simulation

For STMicroelectronics STR710FZ2 — External Memory Interface (EMI)

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

• Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Ext Mem Interface Dialog

The Ext Mem Interface dialog configures the built-in External Memory Interface(EMI) feature of the STR7x device. 

Selected Bank Configuration

• EMI_BCONn (Bank n Configuration Register) contains the following bank configuration settings:
• BE (Bank Enable) is checked to enable the selected memory bank.
• B_SIZE (Bus Size) selects the effective external bus size that accesses this bank. 8-bit or 16-bit bus sizes are supported.
• C_LENGTH (Cycle Length) selects the number of wait states (from 0 to 15) to be inserted while reading or writing to this bank.
