These simulation capabilities are described below. System Control Dialog
The System Configuration Dialog controls the remapping and reset functions of the microcontroller. These functions are listed below: Remap Group - REMAP (REMAP Control Register) controls the mirroring of flash memory to SRAM.
- Remap is set to map SRAM to address 0x00000000. If cleared, the flash memory is mapped to address 0x00000000. This bit is automatically cleared when the CPU resets.
Reset Group - RSTSTA (Reset Status) contains the power on reset, watchdog and software status bits.
- RSTCLR (Reset Clear) is used to clear the power on reset, watchdog and software status bits.
- Power-On is set automatically when a power on reset occurs.
- Watchdog is set when a watchdog timer event occurs.
- Software is set to force a software reset.
