Verifying the COM Connection
After setting up the MCB2929 Board, use Flash Magic to verify the COM connection.

Start Flash Magic (using Start — Programs — Flash
Magic) and configure the COM Port interface as illustrated.

Verify the COM connection using the menu command ISP — Read
Device Signature....

The Read Device Signature... displays the following
window. Then close the Window.
If there are any errors, recheck your PC COM port designation and the J14 jumper settings:
- RST = ON
- P2.10 = ON
- TxO0 = ON
- RxO0 = ON
