Device Chain
The section, JTAG Device Chain, SW Device respectively, shows the selected debugging devices found on the target hardware, their IDCODE, and, where possible, their IR length.
The connected device is marked with a dot and a circle. When debugging in JTAG mode, devices can be chained, and you can switch among those device.
Only one device can be connected in Serial Wire mode. Consequently, chaining is not supported in this mode.
