C166: Support for the Siemens C161CI

QUESTION

Is the Infineon C161CI supported?

ANSWER

Yes. We do support that processor. Refer to the Device Databse for a complete up-to-date list of all supported devices.

In µVision, if you go to the File menu and choose Device Database... you can view the existing devices in the database.

You may add new devices to the database yourself. To do so, find the most compatible header file to the new device, copy it, and modify it appropriately for the new device's SFRs. Note that you cannot simulate the device, instead you will have to simulate the closest device to it that the debugger supports.
