How to generate a debug log file on a FlexNet Publisher using the lmtools from FlexNet?

ANSWER

You can generate the log file for FlexNet Publisher by following the below steps:

1. Execute the lmtools utility from the FlexNet folder on your FlexNet Publisher

2. Navigate to Config Services tab

3. Provide the path to the debug log file and Save Services

4. Go to Start/Stop/Reread tab and start the FlexNet Publisher. This will generate a log file.

• Command-line users can generate such a log file using:

lmgrd -c path_of_license_file -l path_of_debug_log_file
