I am aware of the different product features, but can you provide further product details to each Keil MDK edition?

Compare the Keil MDK Editions for supported product features.

Keil today offers product versions for KEIL MDK V5, but former KEIL MDK 4 projects still are supported.

Registered users can access supported product versions and release notes to each edition.

Specific product details:

Current Keil MDK editions

• Keil MDK Lite

• Is free. After installation, Keil MDK defaults to Keil MDK Lite.
• Is restricted to 32 KByte code size, among other restrictions, and
• Has a built-in, 7-day trial of Keil MDK Professional edition. This is one-time use per machine and only works with the latest Keil MDK version.
• Contact your local distributor for a limited 30 days limited full-featured Keil MDK Professional license.

• Keil MDK Professional

• 1st release: Keil MDK 4.20 (March 2011).
• Keil MDK releases before 4.20 cannot be used with this license.

• Keil MDK Plus

• 1st release: Keil MDK 5.20 (August 2016)
• replaces the former Keil MDK Standard edition
• Customers owning a Keil MDK Standard edition license with a support end after August 2016 can use this Keil MDK Plus edition

• Keil MDK Essential

• 1st release: Keil MDK 5.24 (June 2017)
• supersedes the Keil MDK Cortex-M edition

Previous Keil MDK editions

• MDK Cortex-M

• got replaced by Keil MDK Essential (June 2017)

• Keil MDK Standard

• Keil MDK-Standard is not available for purchase anymore.
• got replaced by Keil MDKPlus by V5.20 (August 2016)

• Keil MDK Basic

• Keil MDK-Basic is not available for purchase anymore
