µVISION: Monospaced font in Windows (Japanese OS)

Information in this knowledgebase article applies to:

• Keil MDK 5.20 to Keil MDK 5.24a

QUESTION

We have selected MS Gothic as the font in the configuration of µVision IDE (C / C ++ Editor) installed on Windows 10 64bit (Japanese OS). 

However, the displayed font is not monospaced. 

What can be done to show the letters in a monospaced font ?

ISSUE

This feature was broken in earlier versions of µVision that were released with above mentioned Keil MDK versions, but only for users of Windows (Japanese OS) versions.

RESOLUTION

This got fixed with Keil MDK 5.25 pre-release.
