ANSWER

Keil MDK primarily supports the Arm Cortex-M series.

There is just limited Legacy support of Cortex-R4 devices offered for the:

• Texas Instruments RM42Lxxx-, RM46Lxxx-, RM48Lxxx- and TMS570LSxxxx-series

RESOLUTION

Arm offers the Arm Development Studio for Cortex-R support.

A Debug support of Cortex-R covers the DSTREAM High-Performance Debug and Trace unit.
