ARMCC: Compiler reports "KB: Unexpected type: 6" error

SYMPTOM

While working with complex float variables in the source code, the Arm Compiler 5 reports:

KB: Unexpected type: 6
float _ComplexKB: Unexpected type: 6

CAUSE

This is an issue in the compiler code that generates the OMF information which does not handle the complex entry.

RESOLUTION

The only workaround at present is to uncheck Browse Information under the Options for Target - Output tab.
