MCBTMS570: Dimensions, Posititions and Orientation of Main Connectors

QUESTION

I have a MCBTMS570 board and I want to make my own IO board that has to fit to the CPU board. Where can I find the types, dimensions and positions of these 120 pin connectors?

ANSWER

A dimensional drawing is attached to this knowledgebase article which explains the position of these three main connectors. The dimensions of the CPU board are 100mm x 100mm.

The part number of the connectors used on the CPU board is Samtec QTE-060-01-L-D-A-GP.

The part number of the mating connector on the IO board is Samtec QSE-060-01-L-D-A-GP.

Please note that the CPU board has connectors with guide posts (option -GP). This requires matching connectors and holes on the IO board.
