MON51: DATA/IDATA usage

QUESTION

Are there any direct addresses (DATA 0-7Fh) or indirect addresses ( IDATA 80h-FFh) that the monitor uses?

If so, what are they?

ANSWER

No. The MON51 Target Monitor does not use any internal data memory of the 8051. The monitor swaps out the internal data memory when it executes. This leaves your target program's memory unchanged.
