C51: Getting the Code Bank of a Function

QUESTION

Is there a way to get the bank number where a function is located at run time?

ANSWER

Yes. However, you must create an assembler function that returns the bank number. Refer to the following knowledgebase article for more information on obtaining the current code bank.
