µVISION: Build Option Rebuilds All Target Files

SYMPTOMS

When I click on the Build button in µVision all my source files are translated rather than just the ones that have changed since the last build. Why?

CAUSE

There are several causes for this kind of problem.

One cause may be defining certain values in the Target Options - C166 - Define. For example:

A = 0x0

RESOLUTION

Change your define name from 'A' to something else and make the appropriate changes in your source code.

Other similar problems have been corrected in µVision Version 2.20 and later. You may download the latest updates from the Keil Website.
