Metalink CorporationEmulators The unique iceMASTER-PE packs an advanced feature set into a tiny, palm-sized package that any engineer can afford. Unlike most emulators, which are composed of a base unit and detachable probe card, the iceMASTER-PE utilizes a patented technique to integrate the emulation, trace, and probe electronics into a single small package. This patented technique provides both cost and performance benefits. Despite its low price, iceMASTER-PE supports frequencies up to 40 MHz with a full complement of code memory, external data memory, and a trace buffer 16K frames deep with advanced searching capabilities. The emulator plugs directly into the target application or operates stand-alone. MetaICE-XF 8051 In-Circuit Emulator The MetaICE-XF advances the state of the art in 8051 emulator design with its combination of size, features and price. While only 3.3 in. (8,5cm) x 3.0 in. (7,7cm), the MetaICE-XF provides many outstanding features found on much larger and more expensive emulators, including the following key real time features (which are available on most MetaICE-XF emulators):
In addition, the MetaICE-XF supports Bank Switching over the full range of the emulator's memory. The MetaICE-XF includes a large time stamped trace buffer that can capture up to 64K or 512K cycles of bus activity, depending on model. The MetaICE-XF emulator system is a self-contained unit that includes the emulation electronics, the probe for the specific 8051 derivative and a mating adapter to plug directly into the target application's footprint - all in only 3.3 in. (8,5cm) x 3.0 in. (7,7cm) of space. Windows-based user interface delivers the highest development productivity. The context-sensitive hypertext and hyperlinked help system makes this interface easy to learn and easy to use. The MetaICE-XF includes a full symbolic and source level debugger for Assemblers and Compilers. The emulator fully supports all of Keil's 8051 Assemblers and Compilers. | ||||||||||
