Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Reset Dialog

Reset

The Reset Dialog displays the system reset status register.

Systen Reset Status

  • SYSRSTSTAT contains the system reset status register contents.
  • POR is set when power-on reset is detected.
  • EXTRST reflects the status of the external reset pin (RESET).
  • WDT is set when the watchdog timer reset occurs.
  • BOD is set when a brown-out detect reset occurs.
  • SYSRST is set when a software system reset occurs.

Reset Control Dialog

Reset Control

The Reset Control Dialog displays the peripheral reset control register. This register allows software to prevent resetting the SSP and I2C peripherals.

Reset Control

  • PRESETCTRL contains the peripheral reset control register contents.
  • SSP0_RST_N is set to prevent reset of the SSP0 peripheral.
  • I2C_RST_N is set to prevent reset of the I2C peripheral.
  • SSP1_RST_N is set to prevent reset of the SSP1 peripheral.
