For NXP (founded by Philips) LPC2101 — Reset Source

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Reset Dialog

Reset

The Reset Dialog displays and configures the Reset Source register. The Power-On, External and Watchdog events may be reset sources. You may select and configure each interrupt using the following control groups:

Reset Source ID

  • RSIR (Reset Source Register) contains the current value of the Reset Source register which contains the following:
  • POR (Power-On Reset) is set to allow a power-on event to reset the MCU.
  • EXTR (External Interrupt Reset) is set to allow the RESET pin to reset the MCU.
  • WDTR (Watchdog Timer Reset) is set to allow a watchdog time-out event to reset the MCU.
