Peripheral Simulation

For Analog Devices ADuC7027 — System Control

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

System Control Dialog

System Control

The System Configuration Dialog controls the remapping and reset functions of the microcontroller. These functions are listed below:

Remap Group

  • REMAP (REMAP Control Register) controls the mirroring of flash memory to SRAM.
  • Remap is set to map SRAM to address 0x00000000. If cleared, the flash memory is mapped to address 0x00000000. This bit is automatically cleared when the CPU resets.

Reset Group

  • RSTSTA (Reset Status) contains the power on reset, watchdog and software status bits.
  • RSTCLR (Reset Clear) is used to clear the power on reset, watchdog and software status bits.
  • Power-On is set automatically when a power on reset occurs.
  • Watchdog is set when a watchdog timer event occurs.
  • Software is set to force a software reset.
