Peripheral Simulation

For NXP (founded by Philips) P89LPC931 — Real-Time Clock

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

RTC Dialog

RTC

The Real Time Clock dialog displays and allows you to edit the configuration of the real-time clock module.

Real Time Clock

  • RTCCON (Real Time Clock Control Register) contains the following settings:
  • RTCEN (Real-Time Clock Enable) is set to enable the Real-Time Clock.
  • ERTC (Real-Time Clock Interrupt Enable) is set to enable RTC interrupts. This interrupt is shared with the Watchdog Timer (WDT).
  • RTCF (Real-Time Clock Flag) is set when the RTC reaches a count of 0.
  • RTCS (Real-Time Clock Source Select) selects the source for the RTC.
  • RTCH (Real-Time Clock Counter Reload High) contains the bits 22-15 of the 23-bit Real-Time Clock down counter.
  • RTCL (Real-Time Clock Counter Reload Low) contains the bits 14-7 of the 23-bit Real-Time Clock down counter.
  • Timer (RTC Down Counter) displays the 23-bit value in the RTC down counter.
