Peripheral Simulation

For Infineon C505A-4E — Compare/Capture Register

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Compare Capture Register Dialog

Compare Capture Register

The Compare Capture Register Dialog controls the compare and capture functions. The compare function generates an output signal and interrupt when the Timer 2 register equals one of the preset values. The capture function stores the Timer 2 value and generates an interrupt on an external event, or when the capture registers are modified.

System Module Group

  • Mode (Capture/Compare Mode) enables and configures the capture or compare mode for this register.
  • CCx (Capture Compare Registers) displays or sets the value of each of the capture/compare registers (CRC, CC1, CC2, CC3).
  • IEXx (External Interrupt Request Flags 3 - 6) is set in Capture Mode 0 when an external event causes a capture. It is also set in Compare Mode when a compare event occurs.
  • CCx Pin sets or clears the state of port pins CC0-CC3.
  • T2CM (Timer 2 Compare Mode) selects Compare Mode 1 when set, and Compare Mode 0 when reset. This is only used when Compare Mode is enabled.
  • I3FR (External Interrupt 3 Falling / Rising Edge Flag) is set to capture register CRC on a positive transition at pin P1.0/AN0/INT3/CC0.
