Features

The connectors on the evaluation board provide easy access to many of the TSX1001's on-chip peripherals.

  • Serial Port
A standard DB9 connector is on the board for the TSX1001's built-in UART interface. This is a full duplex, RS-232 serial port.
  • USB Port
A standard USB Type B connector for USB communications applications.
  • LCD Display
A detachable, 240x320 TFT, color LCD display. You may use this graphic display device to show real-time debug and program status messages.
  • Low-Noise, Differential and Single-Ended Op-Amps
Two low-noise, 330 kHz operational amplifiers, two fully-differential 50MHz operational amplifiers and one single-ended, 50 MHz operational amplifier are provided on-chip.
  • ADC
An on-chip, 16-bit ADC accepts input from either the adjustable analog voltage source (potentiometer) or amplified input jack for Analog to Digital application development.
  • DAC
An on-chip, 12-bit DAC with 256 sample buffer connects to a low-power audio amplifier with volume control and loudspeaker for developing applications with audio requirements.
  • MicroSD Card Connector
A MicroSD Card connector for developing applications requiring access to MicroSD Cards.
  • Cortex Download and Debug
The MCBTSX1001 board incorporates a Cortex CoreSightTM debug interface. When coupled with the ULINK-ME, ULINK2 or ULINKpro USB-JTAG adapter, the Serial Wire JTAG interface allows flash programming and debugging.
