SYMPTOMWhile trying to flash an example project in MCBSTM32F200/400 evaluation boards using the ULINK family of debug adapter, µVision's build output window shows below error message: Error: "Not a genuine ST Device! Abort connection."
CAUSEThere is a possibility that the memory accesses for the device are not working, and thus the device is not recognized by the ULINK debug adapter. RESOLUTIONFollow the below steps: 1. Make sure that the Boot Config Jumpers are correctly set to User Flash mode 2. Only one instance of µVision should be active and other tools like ST utility must be closed 3. Change the debugger settings in Options for the target to Connect under Reset and flash the target device again using µVision If these steps are not helpful then send us the debug accesses log file by enabling it under Options for target - debug settings tab SEE ALSO
