MCB900: Unable to Reprogram NXP 89LPC932

QUESTION

I am trying to download a new program into the MCB900 board. However, I cannot connect to the board. What am I doing wrong? The NXP (formerly Philips) website says that this is a fully re-programmable chip.

ANSWER

Problems with reprogramming the LPC932 are caused by misconfigured software or misconfigured hardware. To get the chip to enter ISP mode, you must know the step of the device you have and how that step enters ISP mode.
