QUESTION

During compilation, I receive the following warning message:

Warning 500:
MISSING DEVICE (DRIVER NOT INSTALLED)

What does this message mean?

ANSWER

This message indicates that the compiler cannot detect your security key.

The installation for the Sentinel System Driver is included in the compiler setup. It should be installed automatically during the setup process. If this fails, you may download the Sentinel Protection Installer V7 and use this as stand-alone installation for the driver. After installation of this driver the WARNING 500 message should disappear.

If the WARNING 500 includes a message other than DRIVER NOT INSTALLED, make sure that you have connected the security device correctly to the LPT port of your computer.

If you still receive this error after checking your security key and its connection, contact technical support so we may assist you.
